The Varsity 4+ made program history at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta. They won the Senior 4+ event and won The Kings Club Cup. This is the first time a DeMatha boat has ever medaled at the Stotesbury Cup. This was only the programs third time in a final since 1998, when the program was established.

The Varsity 4+ beat out 44 other teams in this event. They raced aggressively in the final race from start to finish and they stuck to their race plan even when the field took off at the start.

Great day of racing from our pairs! Fast conditions with a cross/tailwind. Our 1st pair to race finished 7th in their heat after battling some steering issues when the crosswind picked up. The next pair came to a stop after some interference by another crew, ultimately finishing 5th. They raised an objection to the race result at the finish, which was accepted! Those guys will get to represent ROW Bladensburg in the Semi-Final on Friday at 2:18pm. Go Buccs!

Not too shabby for our boys racing in the U19 pair. Third place against some quick crews. Important lessons learned ahead of these two representing ROW Bladensburg on our first ever trip to the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta.
