I had so much fun with Frog this weekend in sugar land. She was definitely my biggest supporter during training camp! #txbombers

A moment for this Auburn 852. A beautiful presentation at the Hill Country Mile Rod Run in Boerne, TX. I couldn’t help but fan girl a little stepping back in time with this beauty.

“Good Horses Come Home” is about believing that the things (or people) meant for you—those that are true, strong, and good—will eventually come back, even if they stray or take a long path. It’s about having faith in the return of what’s right, just like a good horse will eventually find its way back home.

This one hits right at home with all three of these horses. These mares all hold a different story, being down different paths, but now right where they need to be and belong. 🤍✨

Because They Give You Everything✨

When a performance horse gives you everything — their focus, their effort, their heart — it’s not just a run, a test, or a pattern. It’s a partnership in motion.

These athletes don’t know the score.
They don’t know the crowd.
They only know you.

So when they finish a round, dripping sweat, lungs working, heart pounding — and they gave it all they had — they don’t need a critique.
They need a release.
A pat.
A soft word.
A moment to know they did well.
And most importantly cookies!

If you have ever had the pleasure to chime in on a session with me, you would know this is something I preach. These animals deserve it all, especially when they are so willing to do the same for you. 🙏🏽🐴

🐴 Healthy Hooves, Happy Horse 🐴
Hoof care is essential to your horse’s overall health and performance. Here’s what you should keep in mind:

🔹 Daily Pick-Outs – Clean hooves daily to remove mud, manure, and stones that can cause bruising or thrush.

🔹 Routine Farrier Visits – Schedule trims or shoeing every 6–8 weeks. Regular maintenance prevents cracks, imbalances, and lameness.
👉🏼 using a good farrier

🔹 Dry, Clean Environment – Constant moisture can lead to soft soles and bacterial infections. Keep stalls clean and dry.

🔹 Nutrition Matters – A balanced diet with biotin, zinc, and amino acids supports strong hoof growth.

🔹 Watch for Warning Signs – Cracks, foul odor, heat, or limping can indicate issues like thrush, abscesses, or laminitis.

🧲 A sound horse starts from the ground up — prioritize hoof care year-round!

I’ve been cooking some stuff up… and a little rebranding… Elissa Anne Photography —> Elissa Anne Media. The box was getting a little small so we’re stepping it up a notch and adding Videography to the mix 🫶🏼
These days social media is probably the best way to advertise your business (or whatever you want really!) and we all love an eye catching video while doom scrolling right? I know I do 🔥
