Right people, right place, right time.

My heart is full and my soul is nourished. I have felt the love and light of my homeland coursing through me at every waking moment these past 10 days.

Deciding to come to Israel at a time of war and uncertainty was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. Above all, I had to see for myself. To hear the stories, some of which were unimaginable, but all of which showed our resilience as a nation, is something the whole world needs to experience. The love and clarity I have been able to feel, coupled with some of the most remarkable experiences I’ve had are met with unwavering gratitude.

To my group, bus 284, a documentary could be made about the love we developed for each other in just 10 days. I have shared moments with each and every one of you, and whether we were crying, laughing, or engaged in a deep conversation, I took something from all of those moments.

I am a proud Jew, and no amount of hate can strip my identity. I am a proud Zionist, and no amount of misinformation will weaken my bond with my homeland.

I am grateful, I am proud, and I am fulfilled.
