With this last concert in LAC Hall, my Masterโ€™s degree at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano has officially come to an end. These past three years have been an incredible journey of growth and self discovery. I am deeply grateful to my professors, Pavel Berman and Marco Rizzi for their artistic guidance and dedication, to our amazing pianist Roberto Arosio for the collaboration and support on stage. A massive thank you to all my wonderful colleagues and friends whom I met along the way. Sharing the music, the hard work, the (very quiet and calm) Lugano nights has made these years truly unforgettable. Looking ahead, I am incredibly happy to announce that form September Iโ€™ll be starting my Soloist Masterโ€™s degree at ZHdK in Zuฬˆrich in the class of Alexander Sitkovetsky. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. See you in Zuฬˆrich :) Furthermore I would like to wholeheartedly thank @orchestradellasvizzeraitaliana for this wonderful year. I had the pleasure of being part of their academy - the first one of the orchestra! - and work alongside the amazing sections both in second and first violins. Thank you to all the colleagues who made me feel so welcome from day one, for the guidance, the beautiful music shared on stage. I owe a huge thanks also to the amazing Concertmaster Robert, for the inspiring lessons and for pushing me to become a better musician everyday and of course a big thanks also to Walter for the continuous support. Beyond grateful for this unforgettable year! pics: @sidorelacuedari_

๐ŸŽผโœจ Schumannโ€™s Piano Quintet Did you know Robert Schumann wrote his famous Piano Quintet in 1842, during his โ€œchamber music eraโ€? He actually composed it for his wife, the amazing pianist Clara Schumann ๐Ÿ’› Plot twist: Clara was supposed to premiere itโ€ฆ but got sick ๐Ÿค’ so Felix Mendelssohn stepped in and played it instead! sight reading!!!! ๐Ÿ–ค The second movement is a funeral marchโ€ฆ but with soft, emotional moments that feel almost comforting. For me this viola solo is like an emotion that you've been feeling so much until the point it gets so intense and you speak out for then feeling relief in the next section, or maybe remembering something with love. The biterness tough remains until the end of the movement Performing with Furiant Ensemble #ClassicalMusic #violin #piano #viola #violasolo
