For the past three years of my life, I have found my identity in running, and with that came all sorts of ups and downs. That is not the case anymore. If you know my story, you would know that I am running track and field and potentially cross country at the next level. The reason I am able to do that is because of my sophomore year times. Last year I put all of the weight of college on both cross country and track which led me to falling short for both. Injuries and mental battles played a huge part in that.
•
Go have fun. As easy as that sounds, it’s true. Putting all the pressure on yourself is only going to make you run heavy.
•
I will be putting all of my trust in God and wherever that takes me I will always be pointing up.
