I really don’t know how to sum up the past 5 weeks here @hangartheatre adequately. Dear Evan Hansen is one of those shows that I’ve been wanting to do for so long ever since I saw the show on Broadway. To finally have this opportunity alongside some of the most incredible actors I’ve had the privilege of sharing a stage with has been nothing short of awe inspiring. Every day I got to go into rehearsals and on that stage with such support and care all because of the trust we were afforded by Gavin, Aimee, and Ben. We were lead by a true star Mikey Perez whose Evan was so nuanced and brilliant. A family consisting of Monica, Danny, and Emily that lifted me up and cared for me through all the trauma that The Murphy’s endured. Our anchors Erica and Adam who consistently brought humor and light to this very powerful show and Mary who brought us all to tears nightly with So Big/So Small with such a rawness that was equal parts uplifting and heartbreaking. I love my DEH family immensely. I’m so grateful for this moment. I’ll remember this For Forever.

Follow along our Instastories beginning TONIGHT with our extraordinary 2026 Company Management Team - Parker Howland @parkerhowland_ and Eli Foodman @elifoodman. Take a peek into the outrageous and busy lives of Company Managers during the summer at the Hangar!

The Company Management Team works closely with all levels of cast and production staff, acting as the integral link between the Theatre Manager, the production company and the rest of the company.

From supplying spatulas to lending a shoulder to sob on, Company Managers are, at their heart, true hosts of hospitality, making sure everyone has what they need for a successful run whilst here in Ithaca. Parker and Eli are passionate, responsible, and wildly creative leaders who’ve created a supportive and joyful environment at the Hangar this summer. We are so glad they are here.

Learn a bit more about them:

Parker Howland @parkerhowland has returned to the Hangar after last summer’s role as Assistant Company Manager. He holds a degree in Acting from SUNY New Paltz and has worked throughout New York and Pennsylvania, most recently performing with @therevtheatreco on tour in “An Itsy Bitsy Play”. His favorite thing about Ithaca is the many, many ice cream options. 🍦This season he is most looking forward to getting to know more incredible artists and help them feel right at home here in the gorgeous town of Ithaca!

Eli Foodman @elifoodman is very excited to be joining the Hangar for its 2026 season. He is a passionate artist originally from Connecticut but is not a stranger to the area - he is a rising Senior at Ithaca College. He grew up performing in a variety of different roles and theatres but made the switch from on to off the stage and is getting his Bachelors of Science in Theatre Administration. He has held many roles as an undergraduate, including marketing for the School of Music, Theatre and Dance @ithacamtd, House Management, and the opening night Receptions Coordinator for “Titanic the Musical” and “Spring Awakening”.

Follow along what is sure to be a fun-filled busy day of great behind-the-scenes footage(starting with a drive to Syracuse airport tonight!).

For there never was a story of more woe than that of Fine Shit and her Romeo!💐

Last show at IC is over! Not thinking about it too much or else i might start sobbing again. Never thought i’d live to see a queer AND disabled Benvolio, much less any other Shakespeare role, and i am so honored and grateful that i got to bring my own fun to this character. Going out on a high note, and what a role to get to go out on. Benny rolling out!
