Sometimes I wonder how different our lives might look if we never found the courage to speak up for the things we truly want.

How one decision, one question, could change the course of everything. And how the fear of asking those difficult questions might keep us from experiencing some of life’s greatest joys.

Amaya and Elijah shared their very first kiss on this beach. And beautifully, they returned to that same stretch of Redwood Coast, only this time, Elijah had a much bigger question to ask.

There’s something so meaningful about returning to a place that holds a piece of your story. The same ocean, same shore, but different season of life.

It’s unfair how little time we really get to spend with the people we love in one lifetime. And perhaps that’s why moments like these matter so much.

So do the tough thing. Ask the difficult questions. Tell the people you love how much they mean to you. Don’t let fear keep you from the joy of building a life together.

Same place. Different time. But with a whole new chapter waiting to unfold.

We wrapped up a great weekend with @ccfoursquare and Urban Exchange🙌 Here are some highlights:

7 new faces joined us on their first Urban Exchange Mission! We got to serve alongside and partner with so many organizations, hosted our Spaghetti Dinner and Laundry Love for the community and got to serve donuts, coffee and LOVE to all of our friends down in the Tenderloin.

We also kicked off our Adopt a School Project at Bret Harte Elementary with a ton of awesome volunteers. So grateful to partner with so many from the community with the heart to SERVE!

To my Sisters, Brothers, and the guys in the corner. Thank you for forgiving me, and for being with me through everything. Please keep forgiving me as I learn because I’m not done. I’m moving to Montana, I don’t know when I will be back. What I do know is that that was the best bonfire ever, every part of it was how I imagined it. I’ll take with me the lessons you all taught me and hope to see you again. If I didn’t get to say goodbye to all of you, that doesn’t mean I forgot about you. Good luck everyone, and keep the spirit of Delnorte up. Side note, I can’t tag everyone it’s too crowded
