mission accomplished ✅
bachelor's of music acquired 🤝

some highlights:
~ finished my senior recital a little over a month ago! felt pretty good about it tbh :) (one of my top 3 moments on slide 4)
~ got involved with more bands and planning some shows AND im gonna keep doing that after grad 😛 more shows comin, more projects in the works, i'm excited to share it all soon!
~ co-wrote a classical improv piece with @eliot_shneider + arranged some of his jazz charts :3 (slides 6-7 and 12)
~ kind of #gradumacated ???? crazy .. it still doesn't feel real 👁️👁️

jeez it has been a difficult year and i'm so grateful to the people that stuck around. thank you for being patient with me and for letting me grow and evolve alongside you even when i went MIA. one of the many lessons i learned this semester is that it truly is the friendships that you can come back to any time, no matter how long the silent period is, that lasts the longest. so no matter how long it's been, if you're ever in my city (for the next two-ish years, it'll be LB/OC/LA), let's catch up! i'm so! excited to see where y'all go :) congrats 2026 grads‼️😸💢💢

When I was about 8, I watched Star Wars: The Phantom Menace for the first time, and while I don’t remember the film being particularly good, I was absolutely enthralled by the music in the final fight sequence. I was so enamored by the way that the music was able to elevate the weight of the film, and I knew that somehow, I wanted to be a part of that process.

This past Sunday, I was given the most wonderful opportunity to record 2 film scores for @dodgecollege senior thesis films at @hollywoodscoring . It was such a privilege to get a glimpse into the everyday routine for working professionals in this industry. This was an incredible effort at the hands of so many people, and I will try to thank as many as I can.

Firstly, I’d like to thank my directors @michaelagolik and @ryan.millzz for trusting me with their creative vision and allowing me to play a small part in telling their deeply personal and impactful stories.

Secondly, I’d like to thank my fellow composers for the many late nights we’ve spent together at all stages of the process: sketching, orchestrating, printing, taping, making protools sessions 🤢. It has been such a pleasure to get to know you all within such a stressful yet invigorating period.

I especially want to thank my Professor, @melodicfox , for taking a chance on me and letting me in this class early. I really appreciate his trust in me, as well as the detailed guidance he was able to provide me with every step of the way.

Finally, thank you to @nolanmarkey , @mattkulewicz , the exceptionally talented musicians and engineers at Hollywood scoring, and everyone else who helped out this together.

If 8 year old me could see me now, I think he’d be very pleased.
