Take time out to breathe. Take out time for gratitude. Take time out to be.

I am an observer. I am an active listener. I am in therapy. I am med compliant. I have studied mental health for decades & I have several mental health disorders. I am also a recovering perfectionist.

One thing I have learned that remains consistent: no one truly has it all together. It’s ok to not be ok. It’s ok to let yourself feel your feelings. It’s ok to talk about your feelings It’s ok to cry.

M E N hear me & listen when I say this.
Imagine the sound of my voice in your head as you read this: It is ok to cry. I’ve held your tears before & honored your vulnerability. Crying is a sign of strength; not weakness.

We heal ourselves when we share our life experiences with others. We heal each other when we hug. We heal ourselves through community. We heal ourselves through therapy.

Your mental health deserves attention every day. Talk to one another. It may be the conversation that sticks with you or another and fills you with the type of gratitude you remember whenever you are experiencing a tempestuous time.

Be kind to yourself. Make sure you give yourself the same amount of grace you freely extend to others ,if not more.

Love yourself. You are worthy. You are enough.

Love,RoseGold

Thanks @chinnaparker for having me as a special guest on your show Ceremoneè and for the support of our organization Tribe of Eli Wellness!

At Tribe of Eli Wellness we focus on healing the world by using the arts as a tool to teach emotional intelligence. Bringing that vision to your stage was a beautiful experience.

Shout out to @bkawatts and @lounges_cle 💯🎬🫱🏾‍🫲🏽
