There’s something profound about recognizing that life can be painful and imperfect, yet still finding overwhelming beauty in it.

We’ve been busy!

From our Etiquette Lunch to the All-Scholar Meeting and Career Fair, we’ve had plenty of opportunities to grow together.

Here’s what you’ve missed 👀

10 years of detasseling!

Over the last ten years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to come out every summer and detassel for the Hagan’s. It hasn’t been the easiest work but I’ve enjoyed each summer I’ve gotten to spend with friends, family, and good role models.

Last summer I had the opportunity to join the admin team as a flagger and this year was my first year driving a school bus. I drove around a group of 14 of our first and second years and while challenging, it has been an incredibly rewarding and fun experience. _
Over the years I’ve trained 20 different kids, led 6 different crews and have pulled around 500 acres of corn. I’ve detasseled with my brothers and sister, seen the kids I’ve trained train kids and crews of their own and I’ve made countless friends each year.

Thank you to the Hagan’s for providing me with such an amazing experience.
