I didn’t really experience symptoms of colon cancer until just a few months ago — and by the time I realized something was wrong, it was already too late. If there’s anything I can urge you to take away from my story, it’s this: please, listen to your body. It has a way of speaking to us, even in small, quiet ways. Don’t ignore the signs. If something doesn’t feel right, even if it seems small, please go get yourself checked. Early detection can save your life. If my video can encourage even one person to act sooner, it’s worth it also I forgot to mention that I’ve lost about 16-20 pounds on the last 6 weeks

I also want to take this time to say thank you — truly, from the bottom of my heart — for all the love, prayers, and support you’ve sent my way. Your kind words, encouragement, and prayers have carried me through some of my darkest moments. I still believe in miracles. I still believe in the power of prayer.
