Heimilisbrauð ☀️🇮🇸🍞🥪🎥❤️‍🔥

Last summer we made this film in the East of Iceland to celebrate the 30th annaversary of Myllan! It was a remake of a 20 year old film made by Sagafilm & directed by the legend Denni Karls!

This project surely was like a little dream💫

Today marks 6 months of my sophomore album “Reach You” and 4 years of my debut album “This Is Not My Mind”!!!
It’s been very different releasing this time around off 5p0t1fy and in a new city, the response has been quieter and more intimate. I’m thankful for the support of my family and hometown friends and for new friends and community in Chicago. It’s been nice to slow down, to focus on teaching, practicing, laying down roots. If you haven’t listened to either yet, I would be forever grateful and curious to hear your thoughts.
If physical media is your jam I have many CDs for Reach You and a limited number of tapes for TINMM, otherwise you can stream at the linkinmybio!

PS: if you live in the Chicago area and you need support for shows hit me up, I’m ready to rumble 😼

Tíu nýjar íslenskar heimildamyndir voru frumsýndar á Skjaldborg - hátíð íslenskra heimildamynda sem fór fram í 19. sinn á Patreksfirði nú um hvítasunnuhelgina. Þrenn verðlaun voru einnig veitt á hátíðinni.

Einarinn, áhorfendaverðlaun Skjaldborgar 2026, hlutu Ragnar Axelsson, Ingvar Þórðarson og Mika Kaurismaki fyrir myndina Fuglar og menn.

Dómnefndarverðlaunin Ljóskastarann hlutu Helgi Felixson og Titti Johnson fyrir myndina Heimkomuna og Skjölduna, dómnefndarverðlaun Skjaldborgar fyrir heimildastuttmynd, hlaut ungi leikstjórinn Línette fyrir mynd sína Plomb Culture (Blýmenning).

Skjölduna, verðlaun fyrir bestu stuttmynd hlaut Línette fyrir myndina Plomb Culture.

Verðlaununum fylgir verðlaunafé frá tækjaleigunni Kukl að verðmæti 250 þúsund og háhraða vinnsludiskur frá Sensor, umboðsaðila fyrir Glyph vinnsludiska á Íslandi.

Myndin er í stíl gamallar kynfræðslumyndar og fylgir komu skemmtiferðaskips til Seyðisfjarðar en verður að frásögn um innrás, aðdráttarafl og brothætt jafnvægi náttúrunnar.
