Navami said fire, smoke and a pumpkin sacrifice, I said serve it in white with my corset 🪷

My favourite day of Durga Puja is Maha Navami, at home in Melbourne. A white chikankari saree, a green corset and a pearl choker for the Navami hom, the kumro boli, dhunuchi smoke over Maa and the bhog. Basic was never an option.

It’s one of those days where everything is falling apart and I’m feeling small. The final samples came back wrong, the shoot got cancelled, and I had a full freakout on the kitchen floor.

4. Keep the bottom simpler so the jacket stays the focus
