PURE PRIDE! Marino Bloudek takes on the world’s best in Budapest! 🏃‍♂️💨At the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championships, Croatia's own Marino Bloudek delivered a strong performance in the 800m semi-finals, clocking 1:45.90! ⏱️✨It was a blisteringly fast and tactical race. While only the top 4 advanced to the final, just earning a spot at this exclusive championship—where only the absolute cream of the crop gets to compete—is a massive milestone for Marino and Croatian athletics! 🇭🇷🏆I am absolutely thrilled that I was there live in the stadium to cheer him on! Seeing the Croatian jersey out there competing against the world's elite was an incredible moment. The energy in the stands was unreal! 🏟️🔥Heads up, Marino! You fought like a lion and the best is yet to come! 👑🙌#MarinoBloudek #Budapest2026 #CroatiaAthletics #800m #WorldAthletics #UltimateChampionships #TeamCroatia #IWasThere #TrackAndField #BudapestLive

@eliottcrestan, ladies and gentlemen! 👏

After missing out on the European championships with a last minute hamstring tear, Eliott bounced back in a way few have done before him:

One month later, 8th in a global final ➡️ Simply sensational 🧑‍🍳

What a run from @eliottcrestan! 😮👏

Eliott just competed in the Ultimate Championship 800m semi-final and powered his way to a final spot, beating some world class names and coming home third in 1'44"09 🇧🇪

The Belgian made a gutsy move on the back straight to get into the qualifying positions and eventually grabbed one of the 4 Q's for the final. Finally a first outdoor final on the global stage for the man who has won several indoor medals 🥹
