My mailbox was incredibly happy/full during the past few days! 💕
So many lovely postcards flew in (thanks to #worldpostcardday2021 and #postcardswaps )...
.
It has been raining here a lot since Monday and some of the cards have tiny water damages. One of them - a Magic Owl - came completely wet out of my mailbox and looks very special now (-> pic 2). I don't know why but I really like it the way it is! 🙂🙃
.
On the pictures 3️⃣ to 9️⃣ you can see a few highlights: beautiful stamps, a WPD postmark, a pumpkin 🎃 wax seal and more...
.
Thank you all again!! 🤗🤗🤗

📯 Let's celebrate 🎊 today's 2nd WORLD POSTCARD DAY by writing and sending lots of beautiful postcards and let's spread some happy mail love! 💛
.
On pic 1 I was standing in front of the POSTKARTENLADEN in Cologne in the morning. The postcard shop was still closed.
I was an early bird. 🐦 Otherwise I would have loved going inside... 😊
.
On pic 2 I was about to send my cards off in my hometown. 📯💛🖤
The postcard motif is a print of the photo I've made on 1st WORLD POSTCARD DAY in 2020. 🤩
Do you spot 🧐 the "Postkarten" stamp on the cards? You can have a closer look at them on pic 3...👀
.
And what about you? 🤗 Have you sent some postcards yet or are you going to do so??
.
BTW it's also #internationalcoffeeday! 🤎☕🤎

Thanks to @liz__postcrossing for the amazing Tokyo Olympic Village card and special postmark. Thanks to @caroblackcat for the Yogyakarta card and colorful stamps. Thanks to @tamavi_postcards for the Soviet era toothpaste poster—what a way to start the day!😂 Thanks to @annakamchatka for the Volcano Day card—a holiday I haven’t yet celebrated! Thanks to @cartepostaly for the card from Lourdes—not a bad vacation spot! Thanks to @snailmail.from.tayler for the fun You Rule card.
