I've pulled back somewhat socially, so I can work on the upcoming retail-ready 'Talisman' collection, which will debut in stores and on the runway at @shinenostigma on September 22, a massive benefit for and honouring those who have struggled with addiction and mental illness. .
.
Mental illness is often an invisible disease and can morph and shift in unpredictable ways. Another reason I've pulled back is to get the space to rally resources around me. After 12 years of living under one diagnosis, it seems that may have been incorrect or incomplete. While it somewhat feels like starting from the beginning again, I have to hope and believe that it's a fresh start and hopefully won't take another 12 years to unravel the mind and heart knots. .

Those of you who already knew, thank you immeasurably for your support, love, patience, & checking in when I've burrowed into myself. Those of you who may be learning something new and deeply personal, thank you for reading this wall of text and my hope is that we all can better connect, understand and erase the stigma of mental illness. .

Unchained. Unbroken.

Stepping into a new year.
I've been absent for a while as I cope with death, heartbreak, loss. What I've learned is so much stronger than what has been left behind and I am free to pursue a greater future.
Sometimes the things we love are temporary and ultimately holding us back from discovering the joy we deserve. At times it's felt overwhelming to deal with a myriad of sorrows all at once. It would be a lie to deny the pain, but those who surround me with love during these times have shown me the elastic strength of the human heart.
Thank you for your continued support, love and for proving to me that the heart is the strongest muscle.
