April 1️⃣4️⃣…this month.. the official word on the street is 🚽 SUCCESS!! I don’t think growing up would be a success without some story that goes like this: you came out to the entire dinner table and announced “I 💩’ed!” At least I know @elizabeth.maynard and @rhettamaynard agree with me 😂😂. The last month had so much else to celebrate too. Circuit ended: you remain UNDEFEATED in Leadline. AND your last horse show at WEC, you specifically asked if you could trot while you were showing 🥰. Your foot jumping skills also improved this month - thanks to the patience of your trainers😂 Happy, Papa and @hollylabry . We got to do baby’s THIRD League of Nations and then go to Flagler Beach - forever now known as 🌺 Flower🌺 Beach. There were many 🦖’s spotted on the drive there, luckily Spirit the car could outrun them. Also while we were driving, out of nowhere you announced: “Belle is a famous pony in the world. And Colby loves her for ever and ever and ever. And Elvis is a good boy. And he and Belle are so happy together. And Colby loves them forever and ever.” 🥰🥰🥰 At the 🏝️ we leaned the joy of jumping 🌊 and you used your “digger” (shovel) to build sandcastles. You looked at your reflection in my sunglasses and said “Mommy, your glasses are like a camera for me”. Happy @cindygapen will never let you forget watching the Artemis II mission launch on 4/1/26. Truly that felt like a once in a lifetime experience. 🚀 When we got home we got to celebrate @amyrippel and Finn’s birthdays. What a good outfit you picked for Amy’s 😉. You still lean over, hug me and tell me “Mommy I love you so much” but also have taken to telling people “you’re sooo weird” as an additional sign of great affection 😂. This year has been so special to watch you experience all the magic that happens on holidays ➡️The EASTER 🐰 came!!! 🐰brought a Dobby basket, hid 🥚 around the house, left the 🐶s their own baskets and MUST have talked to 🎅🏽 because 🥕 were left for the 🐴 s!! Doesn’t matter if it is a Big important day, or normal day full of small joys; it brings ME such happiness that so often you look at me in the eye and tell me with confidence that it is “the best day ever!”

Designing this piece to welcome guests to celebrate the engagement of @elizabeth.maynard and @ben_verlander at Elizabeth’s childhood home was an absolute joy. I Using a gorgeous vessel from the bride-to-be’s childhood home, we worked with her mom to create a piece in the palette and romantic whimsical style they both envisioned. Extras props to the groom-to-be for carrying this (heavy!) piece in for us 🫶🏻

To my little Valentine 💌. You are sweet and sensitive and smart! It fills me with joy watching you grow up, your brain work and you finding your own personality and what brings you joy. Your imagination and playfulness makes me smile. Lately you have taken to using utensils 🥄 🍴 as scuba gear! You hold the spoon or fork to your mouth, look bright eyed and exclaim “let’s do this!!” and go adventure “under water”. I am so proud of your use of please and thank you. And it makes me 🤣: if anyone says thank you to you; your response: “You’re SO Welcome!” 🥰. This month there were some pretty awesome memories made: Tia Elizabeth came to town and dressed like a baby 🦒 we bounced & Skylined 😍. You got invited on your first pony trial trip and took your job of trial riding very seriously. Then another Monday we had the most special trip to St. Pete’s Beach ❤️🩷❤️. We finished up the month with a quick trip to Cincinnati to hug Happy & Papa and celebrate the life of Jan Kneipp, who helped make me the person I am today and therefore shapes you too. Big important memories made this month. Also some tiny moments that stand out. Once just driving in the car you said to me “Mommy, how does a 🦍 gorilla smile?” I love the way you hold up a finger ☝🏽and say “Mom! I’ve got a good idea 💡!” And your memory continues to astonish me…On a Wednesday we went and bought Jack Straw a new halter, and they sent the name plate out for engraving. On Friday we were in the car: 🫧:“Mom, what’s today?” (“Friday”) 🫧:”what’s after today?” (“Saturday”) 🫧:”What’s after Saturday?” (“Sunday”) 🫧: “O! That’s when we get the plate! You know.. Jack’s plate for his halter”. 😳 I adore your obsession with baby animals. You yourself often a baby animals. Especially popular is Baby Wolf in a family of wolves, and often you pant like a puppy dog and lick us for kisses. 🥰🥰🥰

1/14/26 ->In our first month of being a 3️⃣ year old this little explorer got to go on a Mexico wedding adventure !!!! On our way there, when we had a little bit of turbulence on the plane, 🫧 told me the ✈️ was bucking😂🐴😂! But we landed safe and sound, and got meet Kathy and @richardverlander for 🥑🌮🍹 & then the whole family 🚐➡️🌴🌊🏖️. Most of you don’t know, as I didn’t, is that there are so many 🦖🦕🦕🦖 in Mexico! There were endless baby dinosaurs that needed rescued and taken back to their dinosaur mom. And we came home with a whole pouch full of dinosaur bones that you collected. 🫧: you are the luckiest boy to be surrounded by Aunties, Happy’s, Papa’s, Mimi’s. and PopPop’s who will go on all baby 🦕🦖rescue missions, dig for fossils and bones, play school (wrangle that unruly Beau), teach you to swim 💙 and ignore any 💩😇. We got to have delicious family meals and at least once a day you would look at me with big saucer eyes and say: “Mommy, this food is SOOO good!”. We took walks on the beach, buried your legs in sand, flew on the beach hammock, left mommy to swim with a very friendly 🐊 and had the best time with our new cousins 💞. On the big day, (with a little help 😉) you led Hamilton 🐕 down the aisle: the most handsome ring 💍 bearers in all the land. You had total and pure happiness the moment you noticed a DISCO 🪩 BALL (Belle!) above the dance floor. Your face lit up and you whispered to me: “Mommy, can they play Old McDonald”? While they didn’t play that…EVEN BETTER they played🎶🎵 Pink Pony Club 🎵🎶just for you. And just like the night prior when @kateupton turned it on and the entire family came alive, that song brought so much joy and happiness and dancing 💃🏽 🩷🦄. It was one of my favorite moments of the entire trip. We were sad to leave everyone at the end of the week, but on the ride to the airport you looked at me and said: “Mommy when I get home I’m going to hug Belle and Jack Straw for a long time”.

It was worth the wait on our 1/14/26 story for the incredible photos 📸. Thank you @elizabeth.maynard for sharing them with me, and even more thankful for getting to celebrate your beautiful love with @ben_verlander 💞

To my wife. My first Valentine’s Day as a married man. I feel like the luckiest man on the face of the earth.

I can’t tell you how many times I’d imagined you walking down the aisle before our actual wedding day. But when the day finally came I never could’ve prepared myself for the emotions I felt. It, without doubt, is the greatest day of my life.

Thank you for making me the happiest man in the world. I love you.

December is just a P~A~R~T~Y MONTH!! Birthday week wraps up and we get to keep partying but now to 🎅🏽 🎶 🎵!! Without any shadow of a doubt our favorite Christmas friend is Rudolph 🦌. We have almost gotten down his song perfectly and when we ride at WEC the ride always has to end with going to the gap in the green mile to say hi to the Rudolph there. We started our Christmas season with our annual Light Up Ocala, absolutely did the Christmas Clap on the Christmas Train (tho maybe the Kirby Farm 🎠 still holds top spot in your heart) and this year no tears were shed as you met 🎅🏽 😂. We got a second sighting of Santa and either Dasher or Dancer at the Mayhem Ranch BREAKFAST with Santa!! HAPPY and PAPA came to visit for Christmas, as did an 🤒 for everyone 😂. But despite illness (and a hurt finger which required a magic 🧤 to make the hand function) we persevered and had the very best Christmas Day. Santa brought a red tractor, an awesome swing and colorful 🥕s for the horses. It is my favorite time going out with the whole family: (people and 🐶s) to pass out these Christmas treats and snuggle with our🐴s. And 😂😍😂 you did yell GOOD JOB SANTA as you drove the tractor filled with carrots to the barn. It brought me such joy that you still haven’t gotten present crazy. Instead of ripping through all your gifts each one you open you act like it is the only in the room and stop for minutes (or hours) to play with it. Christmas night was games and charcuterie and so so much love.
