E L O P E M E N T 💍  Come along with us, as we get married!  Exactly two months ago, we finally said “I do.” 17 years from the day we officially met (…we had to make sure we were making the right decision, obviously.) 
We are polar opposites who somehow fit together perfectly as one. 
So many years filled with adventures, laughter, a LOT of laughter, questionable decisions (not mine), some serious stuff and a hilarious disagreement here and there.

It was time. 
Turns out we didn’t need to get married to know we were forever. But we’re so glad we did.

We had the absolute joy of serving an incredible group of friends and family celebrating the beautiful couple. This stunning new venue @bailyfarm1834 set in a lavender field, was pure magic.

Pints & Prosecco was busy pouring custom cocktails and mocktails made just for the couple, plus a full standard bar for every guest.

Melissa & Jesse 🤍

There are weddings I get to be a part of as a planner, and then there are weddings that mean something entirely different.

Watching my cousin marry the love of her life, while also being trusted to help create the day they would begin that life together is something I’ll always hold very close to me.

Melissa, I’ve known you your whole life, but somewhere along the way, despite the years between us, we became more than cousins. We became friends. Getting to know you as an adult, watching the woman you’ve become, and being welcomed into this chapter of your life has been one of those unexpected gifts I’m so grateful for.

And Jesse, there could not be a more perfect person standing beside her. The way you love her, make her laugh, and so naturally became part of our family made this day that much sweeter.

This wedding felt like them in every way; warm, effortless, full of life, surrounded by family, good food, wildflowers, laughter and so much love. Nothing overly precious. Just beautiful things, gathered together for two really beautiful people.

I spend so much of my life helping other families celebrate days like this. Getting to do it for my own will always feel a little different.
