A day full of connection, compassion, and creativity 💙 Yesterday, our East Kent Mind Ambassadors visited The Old Farm House Care Home for a special wellbeing day with residents. They kicked things off with some light movements and introductions, followed by a nostalgic quiz and therapeutic arts and crafts 🎨 After lunch, our ambassadors had the opportunity to wear the ‘empathy suit,’ an eye opening simulation of the mobility and sensory challenges faced by those living with dementia; a really insightful experience. The afternoon continued with music and meaningful activities that left a lasting impression on everyone involved. A heartfelt thank you to the Old Farm House for welcoming us so warmly, and to our incredible ambassadors for dedicating their time and energy to bringing joy and support to others. We look forward and hope to be back again soon! 💙
