@eljefebrujo is a Detroit-based music project whose work explores gothic themes, with 4 albums to date, most recently “Draculove,” a 30-track rock opera that explores themes of vampirism, love, and death.

Jefe Brujo’s first album, The Torture Artist, inspired by horror films and stories, was released in 2021. The monstrous second album, Creature Feature, was released in 2022. The third, Pathetic Fallacy, was released on Halloween in 2024, and at midnight of Halloween in 2025, Jefe Brujo released Ray Bradbury-inspired song, “The Halloween Tree.”

In 2026, Brujo released the single “Dracula’s Guest” on May 5th, coinciding with the day that “all evil things have their sway” in Bram Stoker’s novel, Dracula. the full album dropped on May 26, AKA Dracula Day, and is the project’s most ambitious work to date: Draculove, a symphony of horror - which explores themes of vampirism, love, and death, while incorporating a slew of pop culture vampire and “classical” music references.

(All works to date have been self-produced and released through the publishing entity Amityville Recordings, with AI taking no part in the artistic process).

A spectacularly spooky event with Monster Parade @_renalien_ @monty_morgante and @hedylamorte at @thehighdivehamtramck / @gothnightathighdive on October 11! It’ll be a fun, weird, wild evening, including a costume contest and live opening act music from @eljefebrujo !

My 2nd of TWO shows next week will be a solo E9 performance opening for the incredibly creative @eljefebrujo on Saturday, 5/30 at @ghostlightbar in Hamtramck! This is Jefe Brujo's album release show for his vampire gothic rock opera, Draculove. At a show earlier this year he played stripped down acoustic versions of his songs and they sounded dope then but now he'll have a full band backing him! I start the night off with a 45min set of my solo stuff and will have my full DIY rig including my footwoof and custom stage lights! I may even be trying out some new songs/song formats including some extended live looping n improv. Gonna be a fun time!
