first things first... those midcentury house numbers. you’re in the right place.

in 1961, Donald Speck designed this house for himself. the beams, the stone, the walls of glass... all his.

yes, a 1960s sci-fi movie was filmed here. Zontar has moved out, but the views stayed.

five levels, open stairs and a treetop view around every turn. your daily steps? covered.

morning coffee in the canopy, with the birds providing the soundtrack.

the 1960s cinderblock wall everyone asks about. wait 'til you see it in person.

deep blue hex tile, brass details and terrazzo in the kitchen. every bathroom deserves this much personality.

two balconies over the protected Lippitt Branch greenbelt. the view out back is all trees and creek.

a little architecture history: Speck designed only a handful of homes in Dallas, and this one was his own.

he full Zontar story, starring John Agar... and this very house.

restored in 2024, featured on the White Rock Home Tour and ready for its next chapter. come see it Saturday, 1 to 3. 🏡

this is my babygirl, @ellabarfoot, and she voted for the first time today. so much fun that i got to share it with her. she can answer practically any question about politics, she doesn't just follow the crowd, and she lives what she believes. definitely a proud momma moment. 💙💙💙

🌟COMING SOON🌟 to Midway Hollow

@trattoriabugatti is opening next week, and i couldn't be more excited about this new Italian-inspired restaurant featuring my dear friend, @ewcooks (Chef Erin Willis) as chef.

from @culturemapdal: "Trattoria Bugatti is all about honoring the legacy of a Dallas institution while creating something that feels new, vibrant and welcoming for today’s diners,” owner Ashley Odeh says. “With Chef Erin’s incredible culinary perspective, Chris Henley’s thoughtful beverage program, and the Bugatti family’s history in this neighborhood, we believe Trattoria Bugatti will quickly become a place where the community gathers to share great food, great drinks and memorable moments.”

this special new spot officially opens on Monday, April 20th. snag your reservations for lunch or dinner on the @resy app.
