dare i say that was the best 25 minutes of my life?!?!!

@yourshotau what a freaking JOURNEY it’s been! 3 months ago i was packing up my life in Brisbane and making the move to Sydney, knowing full well the community and friendships I would be leaving behind. fast forward to saturday, i was standing on the main stage performing my debut DJ set and in that moment it was clear to me that i’d found my place and people here in Sydney.

the feeling i got when i looked out into the crowd and saw the people i love singing, dancing and having the best time together was simply unmatched!

it’s not all about winning but placing runner up for the main stage on saturday as a pop DJ was a pretty big slay!

shoutout to my housemates for enduring about a hundred kitchen DJ sets and popping their pussies to the same transition over and over again. big ups to my diva boots trainer @kjhennessy.x you made this experience so full of joy and excitement and i can’t thank you enough. lastly, so much love to all of my beautiful classmates that i got to share this crazy journey with! i’m forever grateful that i got to share the classroom with you all and watch us go from 10 individuals to a family. thankyou for accepting me and loving me for exactly who i am.

and thakyou to the @yourshotau team! you’ve created a space for people to give something a crack, be completely themselves and build lifelong friendships. there’s truly something so special about this team and i appreciate the endless support you’ve all shown me through this experience!

love Star Strapped ⭐️
