At 14, @ellarivkin was running her family’s budget on $30 a week. Decades later, she was earning more than she’d ever imagined, and that’s when she realized everything she’d built depended on her never stopping.

In this episode, Ella talks about walking out of her accounting partnership with $12,000 in the bank, the self-doubt that kept her there for years before that, what it took to build income that didn’t depend on her every hour, and the question she didn’t ask herself until her forties: What does Ella want?

can attribute almost all of my success to one thing: PEOPLE. 🙏

The right people will inspire you, empower you, share resources, open doors, and elevate you. The wrong people will hold you back.

Your environment shapes your future.

Find people who share your values, ambitions, and belief in abundance. People who genuinely want to see others succeed.

That’s why I created Value Add Network — a community of real estate investors and entrepreneurs who believe in adding value, sharing opportunities, and growing together.

Our three days in Minneapolis reminded me just how powerful the right tribe can be.

If you believe in giving before receiving, contributing, and lifting others as you grow, this tribe is for you. ❤️

I’ve always believed it’s not just what you know - it’s who you’re in the room with. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. You just walk alongside people who’ve already made the climb.

**The room is the real deal.** 🔥

Three days at the Value Add CRE Mastermind in Minneapolis, and what I'm taking home isn't on any slide — it's the people who filled that room.

Operators, brokers, lenders, and capital partners flew in from all over the country for one purpose: put real deals on the table and find ways to create value for each other.

Yes, we dug into sourcing, underwriting, and how AI is reshaping every part of the business. But the breakthroughs happened between the sessions — in the hallway conversations, the roundtables, the moments someone said "let's partner on this."

To everyone who showed up ready to give before they asked: thank you. 🙌 That's the true meaning of "adding value."

Capital or deals don't change your life people do. The right room shortens your learning curve by years and puts opportunities in front of you that you'd never find alone.

**The next room is forming NOW.**

📍 Miami | Jan 21–23

Seats are limited — and the people who show up are the people who win. Drop a comment or DM me "MIAMI" and I'll send you the details. 👇

Don't watch from the sidelines. Get in the room. 🔥

Three days at @valueaddnetwork —and my mind is blown! 🤯

A room full of commercial real estate investors, operators, and acquisition pros sharing real deals, real numbers, and real lessons—including the dark side of real estate.

For me, the best part was the people. Being around those who think bigger, share openly, and challenge you to grow makes you see what’s possible.

Leaving with new connections, a notebook full of ideas, and a lot to put into action. Thank you, @rafikmoore, and everyone who made these three days so valuable! 🙌
