oh how i love serving the Lord with my precious friends! this past week has been a life changing experience, getting to know all of the kids and families in philly and seeing how God is working in their lives is absolutely amazing. i’ve truly fallen in love with the community and the city! God is working there and i’m so very thankful i can be a small part of it!

There will never be any trophy, low round, status, or accomplishment that will come close to the joy that God and serving others bring!
Our team goes to Philadelphia thinking that we’re going to change lives by telling them about Christ, but they truly change us all the more. They leave such an impact on our hearts to where we can’t wait for the next time we go back.
This mission was a little different for me. This year, spiritually, I’ve been struggling to spend time with God. And when you struggle to spend time with God, you become 𝒔𝒐 spiritually hungry. This week not only reminded me how important it is to spend consistent time with passionate Christ followers, but having people from Kensington pray for me and love on us reminded me of how powerful our God is. The God who completely transformed my life from someone who consistently felt so drained and empty, to someone who finds joy in everything. The God who preforms miracles. The God who is alive. The God who walks with us in the fire.
I will forever boast in my weakness. 𝑯𝒆 is who makes me strong.
The connections with the incredible people in Philly that we get to serve with will always be on my heart. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity God gave me to serve such wonderful individuals in Kensington, PA this past week!
