Wednesday night I held my first ever listening session in my entire career
a small group of people, headphones on, walking through an art fair that hadn't even opened to the public yet. @nap.plus gave us the space, a platform for new and experimental artists.

everyone hearing the same music at the same time, each of them somewhere else in the room. lonesome cowboys, connected. it was the best experience

if you were there last night: thank you
I know some of you have been with me for a long time and that means everything.

a shoutout to @aafkeromeijn and @ninapierson for the voice memos. that was really cool 💜

It’s almost time: the exhibition ‘New Perspectives – Contemporary Art from the West Coast Art Collection’ opens on Sunday 27 September! 📆

The new exhibition focuses on the coast, with its constant changes, and the way contemporary art approaches it. Current perspectives in photography are shaped by new aesthetic approaches, social issues and the artists’ personal experiences.

In recent years, the Museum Kunst der Westküste has significantly expanded its collection of international contemporary art. The exhibition brings together a selection of these new works, including pieces by Nicole Ahland, Per Bak Jensen, Joakim Eskildsen, Rune Guneriussen, Peter Hamel, Karoline Hjorth & Riitta Ikonen, Anja Jensen, Andreas Jorns, Ellen Kooi, Yinka Shonibare, Trine Søndergaard, Mila Teshaieva and Thomas Wrede.

We look forward to seeing you soon! ☺️

Zutendaal- fluistering by Ellen Kooi

In Western Europe, few places are left where you can truly catch the earth’s whisper. Clearly, you have not yet been to Belgium. Here, the landscape unfolds like a silent invitation to simply listen, and just be. Zutendaal – a whisper
