Today, we honor the hearts behind the calling. 🤍 October is Pastor Appreciation Month and we want to give honor to our incredible BC leadership and staff — Pastors Spencer & Ellen Beach, Scott Creswell, Deon Richardson, Esteban Ramos, and Jessica Jones! Thank you for leading with humility, serving with faithfulness, and loving people the way Jesus does. From the platform to the moments no one sees, your prayers, sacrifices, and dedication make an eternal difference. Because of your leadership, lives are being changed, families are being strengthened, and people are discovering what it means to live a Jesus-first life. We are so grateful for each of you and the way you lead, love, and serve our BC family. We love and honor you today and every day! 🤍 BC family, help us celebrate our amazing pastors and staff in the comments!

We can’t stay where we’ve always stayed and expect to become who God is calling us to be. It’s time to come out of hiding, step into the light, and let God lead us forward. 🤍 You were never called to stay stuck.

Before Jesus healed what everyone could see, He healed what no one could see. 🤍 The man came looking for a physical miracle, but Jesus went straight to his heart. Because sometimes the miracle we’re asking for isn’t the first miracle Jesus wants to do in us. He doesn’t just want to change your circumstances - He wants to transform your heart. Pastor @ellenbeach brought the word yesterday as we continued in our Flourish series. If you missed it, check it out at BuildingChurch.tv

"The wisdom you choose today is the harvest your family eats tomorrow." - @ellenbeach James 3 reminds us that heavenly wisdom is more valuable than anything this world can offer. And it's available to us every day when we ask God, the Source. Missed Sunday's message? Watch it now at BuildingChurch.tv 🤍

Write down the small adventures, the new skills, the experiences, the people, and the spiritual growth you want to enjoy this summer. Your growth (“glow up”) is within reach. You do not need a different life to flourish this summer. You need to be present in the one you already have. So plant your feet, make your list, and watch what God grows. 🤍

Any time we move toward Jesus, we move toward light. ✨ Pastor Ellen reminded us at Sisterhood Night that from the very beginning, God shattered darkness with His light and love, and He still does that today in our hearts and lives. When we try to do life on our own, we end up exhausted, empty, and searching. But Jesus always calls us back into His love, His truth, and His peace. No matter where you’ve been or what season you’re in, His light is greater than the darkness. 🤍

Here's something to pray about this week. Ask the Lord, "Where are You asking me to stay planted, even when I can't see growth yet?" Then listen. He's working beneath the surface in ways you can't see. Transplant shock is temporary. Flourishing is on the way. Make sure you’re signed up for our newsletter to receive our full Planted devotional emails—encouragement sent to your inbox every Thursday. You can also read the full devotionals at BuildingChurch.tv under blog posts. 🤍
