April was a very difficult month for my family but these beautiful, wonderful souls helped with some of the pain and reminded me that light will always overtake the dark. Life is precious - love the ones you spend it with. 🌷

An end of the year scrapbook as chaotic and disorganised as my brain. Please enjoy moments of my life with inclusions of out of context texts that I screenshot in the last year. Most of the quotes come from friends and others abroad. Thank you for keeping me laughing.

2025 was the year of friendship. Some new, some old, and some ancient (@angelacousin 😉).

It was the first year since 2021 that I spent all 12 months on Canadian soil. Instead of Europe, I flew from the west coast to the east coast and back in order to celebrate my highschool best friend’s marriage. I had the privilege of standing by @s.adellebutler at the alter to watch her marry her soulmate. She has found the most perfect partner and best friend and I could not be happier for her. Being asked to join their wedding party was an honour and brought me so much joy. The last time Sam and I saw each other in person was 2012, so not only did we get to celebrate her wedding, we got to reconnect.

This long awaited visit with Sam was one of several this year. My two closest friends from the Ribchester dig came from Canberra and California to visit me in Vancouver. The last time we were all together was our trip to Edinburgh back in 2019. The time I got to spend with them was precious to me. And getting to spend almost a full month with Ash brought me so much happiness (though saying that is a bit sappy for his tastes).

On top of being reunited with 3 people who mean so much to me, I also had several new friendships develop this year. I’m very grateful for all of you.

Things I learned this year; I am as tall as a sun bear and weigh as much as an armadillo. The more you know 🌈

If you’ve made it to the end of this post and/or looked at all the slides you get a gold star and might be a favourite of mine. With that said, this 2025 digital scrapbook is mainly for me, to have some of my favourite memories in one place.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful year. Happy New Years! Here’s to 2026 🥂

PS. Ash has a beautiful face but an even more beautiful back (you thought I wasn’t serious about this didn’t you? 😉🖤) @ash.young
PPS. Thank you Ash for give me a toonie so I could ride the carousel. 🎠

One of the very few pictures taken showing how much fun I had celebrating my 30th. I’m so lucky to have so many beautiful, kind, hilarious souls around me, locally and abroad. Thank you guys for making me feel so loved last night. This message includes Gintarė and Elena who called from Australia. You all mean the world to me. 🖤🍷
