Shrimp Creole is one of those dishes that reminds you why New Orleans takes its food so seriously.

Tender shrimp simmered in a rich, seasoned Creole tomato sauce and served over rice. Bold flavor in every bite, with a little heat to keep things interesting.

Pull up a chair and let Gumbo Shop show you what all the fuss is about.

A good meal can change the whole mood of your day.

Crawfish St. Peter brings plenty of Creole flavor to the table, giving you one more reason to settle in and enjoy something good.

Come hungry and treat yourself at Gumbo Shop.

Finally tried @dolfys_nola and holy shit… this was insanely good. Tapas style so we obviously ordered a little bit of everything.

Favorites were the charbroiled oysters with fresno, manchego & sourdough breadcrumbs, Gulf tuna crudo with watermelon gazpacho, Ibérico pork skewers with gordal olives & mojo verde, and the brown butter crab & corn toast 🤤

Perfect spot to grab your faves and split a bunch of really great food. Will absolutely be back!

Fall flavors have officially entered the chat 🎃🍂

I stopped by Playa Bowls to try some of their seasonal specials, and of course I had to bring you all along! Which fall item would you try first? 👀

Noey’s Coffee is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays again as well as their standard Friday and Saturday days. They have their new September specials out and we tried their Pecan Pie Latte. #Latte #CraftCoffee #fallflavors #neworleans #supportsmallbusiness

COOLinary may be over, but the good food definitely isn’t 👀 We hit up @pigeonandwhale on the last day of COOLinary and were very happy to see that almost everything we tried is still on the regular menu!

We went rogue and added the shucker’s choice oysters 🦪, then tried the seafood dumplings (AMAZING), lobster roll & fries, and obviously couldn’t leave without the iconic Life Gives You Lemons 🍋

Consider this your sign that you don’t need COOLinary to make the reservation. ✨

New Orleans has never needed a reason to make Monday taste good.

A plate of slow-cooked Red Beans & Rice with smoked sausage is more than a weekly favorite around here. It’s one of those traditions that’s been passed from table to table for generations.

@patulanola feels like the perfect little getaway tucked away in the French Quarter 🍷✨ The courtyard is such a hidden gem, the wine selection is so good, and the changing menu makes it the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to.

We shared the bone marrow, mushroom toast, jumbo lump crab cake, Patula sandwich, and sweet onion dip. Grab a few plates, a bottle of wine, and stay awhile. 🤌

A good po-boy can make the whole day better.

Tender blackened fish, bold Creole seasoning, and fresh French bread bring plenty of flavor to every bite.

Come hungry and get into a new favorite.

The weekend has to start somewhere, so you might as well start with something good.

Our warm and creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip is perfect for sharing around the table while you decide what’s coming next.

Order one to start and let the weekend take it from there.

Some recipes never stop feeling like home.

Tender shrimp simmered in a rich Creole tomato sauce and served over rice, it’s the kind of New Orleans classic that’s been bringing people to the table for generations.

Pull up a chair and enjoy a local classic.

Birthday dinner done right 🦀🥂✨

Finally experienced the tasting menu at The Crustacean Club, and every course somehow topped the last. The campfire oysters and deviled crab absolutely stole the show for me, but honestly there wasn’t a bad bite all night.

If you’re celebrating something special (or just looking for a memorable meal), I’d definitely put this one on your list.
