Riding the waves is a universal experience. We all struggle to balance our minds and live a life we enjoy. But even so, you can’t have one without the other. You gotta ride the waves. 🌊🌊

This was recorded @twbcoop for @songcraftconcerts with @coriemossmusic and @ejacksonmusic in a lovely afternoon sharing the behind the scenes of our favourite original music. Thanks Cori for the opportunity to geek out with you and Eric!

THE ALBUM IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETELY RECORDED!!!
“Unplugged and Overmedicated” had one song to finish: Mania!

Here are the random moments from our session recording the ad libs and main track for this unusual song with @jackstewartcreative at @studioarecording.

This song had to be recorded with both of us feeding off each other so we are in one room, which means we were definitely going to have some Hottie shenanigans. Feel free to ask questions! Enjoy! 😜😜

MANIA : out November 20th!

I try not to live with regrets. But, I think one of my possible regrets in life is that I never got the opportunity to fully express the art I dream of creating, the projects and songs and exhibits that will never be. That will never have an audience.

God, what I’d give for an audience. I love creating and find it so fulfilling, but I do truly feel depressed that no matter how many things you do “right”, the audience might just never be there.

I love everything I do with @theneighbourhoodhotties and it is a constant struggle inside myself to be ok with no comments and 20 likes on a post. I so badly want people who would resonate with us to find us. I so badly want community who resonate with my art to find me.

I’m tired. Let’s be real, the world was not made for everyone to win. Some lose and some settle. I’m just not ready for either.

I’ll always create with whatever I’ve got, but the mental expectations will have to change.

🌊 THE WAVES IS OUT TODAY 🌊

The Neighbourhood Hotties are so excited to release our 4th single, “The Waves,” from our upcoming album Unplugged and Overmedicated.

This was the second song we ever wrote together, back when we were still figuring out our sound. We were deep in our Led Zeppelin era at the time, and you can definitely hear a little of that influence in this one.

“The Waves” has become a crowd favourite at our shows, so it feels pretty damn good to finally have it out in the world for you to stream, relate to, and hopefully get a little lost in. 🌊

Hope you enjoy it!
