Happy New Year, y’all! If you are new to our community, welcome! 🤗 January marks our six-month anniversary. Here are some of the things we have been able to achieve during this time. In no particular order:

✨ Raised $14.7K for Black Women Photographers COVID-19 relief fund. ✨

✨ Launched the Black Women Photographers global directory. ✨

• Collaborated with the following: @photoshelter, @usowomen, @authoritycollective, @kelbyonepics, @thegirlmob, @everydayeverywhere, @everydayafrica, @mefeater, and more.

✨ Collaborated with @vsco for their amazing #BlackJoyMatters campaign. ✨

• Hosted workshops and events on the following: safety training, grant writing 101, tackling imposter syndrome, covering BLM protests, Black women camera ambassadors, and more.

• Collaborated with @lightroom to present creative talks featuring Sade Ndya, Flo Ngala, Kennedi Carter, and Joshua Kissi.
