Well... that was f*cking mental.

Our first @vegancampout and by FAR our biggest outing as Crustdaddy's yet.

500kg of dough... Yes half a TON of dough!
An irresponsible amount of Mozz*AF.
A LOT of very big slices.
Crew Pizza Tattoos.
And 5 days of you lot absolutely going for it.

Honestly, seeing that many people walking around a field carrying a Crustdaddy's slice was a bit surreal.

To everyone who queued for a literal hot minute, came back for seconds, thirds, dragged their mates over, told us their favourite, shouted nice things at us or just stopped for a chat...

Special thank you goes out to our incredible team, Liam, Elle, Kim, Luke, Jess and Effie for working so hard, we all had an amazing time, lots of smiles, no tears this year! (apart from me obvs)

Big thank you to our trader friends @coffee.by.gulp for keeping us caffed up!, @chillgelato_ for a constant flow of the BEST vegan gelato to ever exist, @thehoglessroast @tamskitchentorbay and @mooreshrooms_ for keeping us fed whenever we had a second to eat... THANK YOU

We have been nominated for ‘Best Street Food’ in this year's @veganfairs awards!

Having been part of the @veganfairs family for nearly 18 months now, we’re so proud and honoured to be part of this community and to work alongside some of the best traders around!

Voting is now open! You can find the link in our Linktree. Voting will close at midnight on New Year’s Eve, and the winners of each category (there are a few!) will be announced at the ‘End of Year’ Party in Bristol on Saturday 10th January. Make sure you vote for all your favourites and, if you’d like, join us at the awards party (tickets available) for a night of celebration, good laughs, and maybe even a DNB DJ set from yours truly 😏 you never know what might happen! 😂

It really has been special to receive everyones feedback from VCO over the last week. It has been so lovely to go through all the posts, shares, reels and stories. I'm glad it was all worth the wait whether it was 5 minutes or 2 hours.

VCO CREW 2025 🍕🌱⛺️❤️👑✌️

Before we dive into all the details from @vegancampout, I need to give the biggest THANK YOU to our team for pulling off our biggest event ever with the trailer.

The Pizza Queenz (Simone, Elle & Cath) and our very own ’Brother Stretch’ aka Aaron – I honestly can’t thank you enough for your hard work, energy, and commitment at this festival. None of this would’ve been possible without you.

There was a moment in the trailer, with all of us in there on our busiest day (Saturday), where I stood back for a second and took it all in. A massive queue, everyone smiling and laughing, the best vegan pizzas being flying out, and 5 people truly in sync with one another in a kitchen space. It might not sound like much, but from a catering background, it's those feelings and moments that truly make me realise why I love this industry so much. It’s a buzz you really can’t describe unless you’ve lived it. Good times 🥲

Every day, and even now, my inbox is filled with messages about how friendly, kind and welcoming the “staff” were – and that fills me with so much pride. There’s no one else I would have wanted in that trailer more than this crew. 🥰

We SMASHED it. Simple as that. We gave it everything, and it shows.

Simone, Cath, Elle & Aaron – thank you for being absolute legends in the trailer, and best friends outside of it. We’ll be talking about this weekend for years to come.

Drop some LOVE in the comments please for the Pizza Queenz & Brother Stretch Aaron – they truly deserve it!

Physical connection to the sea at Dawnstalkers seems to bring out the physical connection to other dippers. And what are the better way is there than to show connection to another human than with a hug, through jubilation or commiseration.
