A LITTLE ABOUT ME…✨
Hi! I’m Cassandra Potichnyj — children’s author, epilepsy advocate, co-creator of My Shaky World… and there are a few things you might not know about me. 💜
🧠 I’ve lived with epilepsy since I was a baby.
🏥 I’ve had two brain surgeries, including a left temporal lobectomy in 2022.
💜 Today, I use my story to help children understand epilepsy, feel less afraid, and know they are never alone.
📚 I’m the author of My Shaky World and The ZYXWV of Epilepsy in My Shaky World.
🎨 In my spare time, I PAINT!
Painting became one of my favourite creative outlets after brain surgery. Give me a canvas, some paint, and an idea… and I’m happy. 🖌️✨
🎭 I also love acting, performing and using my very high voice — which happens to be perfect for bringing some of my characters to life with @elley.ray.official . 😂
🐶 I’m a huge dog lover, and my Pudgy even made his way into the world of my books.
✍️ I LOVE rhyming. Stories, silly sayings, character ideas… my brain is pretty much always creating something.
🌎 My BIG dream?
To continue taking My Shaky World into schools, hospitals and homes around the world so more children grow up understanding epilepsy instead of fearing it.
My brain may have had a pretty shaky journey…
…but it sure gave me a lot to create. 💜🧠✨
Now you know a little more about the girl behind My Shaky World. 🥰

As most of you know, I have a VERY high voice. 😂💜🎙️
It’s kind of become part of who I am — especially when I’m doing voice-over work!
But lately, my singing voice hasn’t been quite right. It’s been feeling tight, cracking, and just not sounding like me.
So today I went to the ENT, and thankfully I got some really good news: it’s treatable. 🙌
With voice therapy, hydration, and a little TLC, I can work on getting my singing voice back where I want it to be.
And don’t worry…
My famous high little voice isn’t going anywhere. 😂🎤💜
Get ready for MY SHAKY WORLD!💜✨
