EEEEK!! SUPER EXCITING NEWS 🗣️🗣️It is time to start exec spotlights!!! Starting off so strong with our wonderful treasurer 💰💰 Ellia Volf! She is a Blue shirt, Industrial and Systems Engineering major, from Houston 🤠

A couple of fun facts about Ellia…

“My favorite things are Lockheed Martin’s SR-71 Blackbird, all Mac Miller songs except the Spins (overplayed), and researching art history (especially Van Gogh, Caravaggio, and Artemisia Gentileschi).

My hobbies include hyper fixating on a few particular songs each week and listening to them ad nauseam, doomscrolling on instagram reels, and asking my friends super random and oddly specific questions :)”

This is what Maggies means to her,

“If Maggies was a work of art, it would include the passion and depth created by chiaroscuro in Caravaggio’s work. It would capture the love and intentionality conveyed by Seurat’s pointillism. And most of all, this piece would embody the courage and authenticity of Van Gogh’s Sunflower series. In summation, Maggies is vibrant and eclectic; a space that simultaneously celebrates differences while unifying its members through the shared values of love, curiosity, and respect.

Maggies has surrounded me with amazingly courageous, passionate, and devoted women who have taught me how to truly love those around me. It has been such a privilege to learn from and grow alongside these women; aiming to be catalysts for positive change!! Therefore, I am so honored and excited to serve as treasurer this coming year and support the women who inspire me most in a new way!”

We are so beyond lucky to have Ellia handling all things financial for us next year, but even more so we are thankful to have her as a guiding light of who a maggie is 💌🌟
