YourShot event weekend was nothing short of unforgettable.

Spending more hours than I could have imagined on a set and getting to play it on stage in-front of all the classmates I had grown with, friends, family, and passers by was a surreal experience.

The YourShot community really is the magic of the competition. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to play in-front of all my friends, and show up for their sets with the same appreciation they did for mine - every single time.

Those two days were filled with more energy, support and overall love for music than I have ever experienced.

To Ryan and Vinny, in those five weeks of training I have learnt more about djing and the community that surrounds it than I realised. Your support and excitement for everyone’s sets really kept us going and I’m so proud to call you teachers 🫶

From seeing YourShot in an ad and applying for it out of the blue - to the day one support from all my friends - and finally getting to play for them was a full circle moment. To my friends who made this possible and believed in me from the very first moment, you mean the world to me ❤️

This is just the beginning for me and the crew - big things are coming for us all.

To those considering YourShot - no regrets.

It’s honestly a little surreal writing this…

Less than a week ago I was standing on the Main Stage at @princebandroom @yourshotau playing my first ever set in front of my friends, classmates, coaches and people I didn’t know. Now I’m incredibly excited to announce that I’ll be playing my first opening club set from 10pm in the MAIN ROOM for @hausacid ! 🚀

I’ll be warming up the Main Room with a journey through hard groove acid with a sprinkle of psytrance/ hard bounce acid setting the tone before an absolutely stacked lineup takes over. Expect some Hard Acid Trance/Shranz & Hard Acid Techno. You don’t want to miss this! 🚨

To everyone who’s listened to a mix, liked a post, shared my music, come to my set, sent me feedback or simply believed in what I’m building… thank you. ❤️

What an experience this was. I’m so grateful for all my new friends, trainers and this incredible community. I’m so proud of every single person for getting that courage and taking that next step for their passion of music. I absolutely loved every second performing, looking up every time and someone was cheering me on, it was special and I appreciate everyone who was there will forever remember. I’m proud of myself hearing that I got Runner Up made me speechless thank you yourshot 🩵. It was definitely a journey of a roller coaster of emotions and it’s hard to think I won’t be able to do this again but the community now will forever be there.

This is it.

A few months ago, playing at Your Shot felt like something that happened to other people. Now we’re just days away.

Balancing work, late nights, practice sessions, self-doubt, and everything in between has made this one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. Whether I win or not, getting the chance to play on a stage like this already means a lot to me.

Massive thank you to the entire @yourshotau team, the mentors @rayn.aus @vincydel , sponsors, friends, family, and everyone who’s supported me along the way. You’ve made this journey unforgettable.
