I almost didn't come out today.

I was laying in bed 30 minutes before the workout, but then @mperales_066 convinced me to stop thinking and just go.

I have been feeling "off" and fatigued since the weekend. Not sure what it is, but I did not feel great running today. We had 2k then 3 x 1k and it was tough. At one point my arms started to feel numb and it felt like I wasn't getting enough oxygen. I ended up finishing most of the workout and being so glad it was over. I am probably still recovering from the Ultra.

I took out my camera while I had a few minutes to run around and have fun shooting @nthdegreeac friends. Got some sick ones of @_joseph.gabriel_ .

Even though it was a rough run, I am still glad I got out there and did something. Otherwise I would have juat laid in bed, but instead I got to see friends and move my body. I call that a win!

The 1st Annual @blueheron5k hosted by @excelsior_rc was an opportunity to see the amazing collection of athletes running not for medals or shirts but the pure drive to be bigger, better, faster runners.

The 5k is a challenge unlike any other. 3.1 miles of hard/strong effort. Congrats to all of you that accepted challenge and crossed the finish line strong.

Dedicating this post to this badass 🖤🤍 @elliegmcguire

My first time of showing up for an Nth event was in October for the Chicago send off run . Ellie said, “we are running party pace !” At that time “party pace” was my race pace 🥲. I remember Mando telling me how Ellie has ran some of the world majors and has fundraised to enter some of her races . If you know training for a marathon is tough, but fundraising the goal amount is even a bigger challenge . I was admiration then and even today your dedication and determination in running , but also as a person🩷.
I have chased behind you in track in order to keep up because goals 💪🏼When you told me “you can be faster and you are faster !” It hit me like if this person that just met me believes in my capabilities, I need to believe in myself .
Fast forward to the journey of trail running ⛰️ both of us back of the pack but mighty and determined 🏃🏻‍♀️ saying we will definitely tether each other through those hills and finish line ! Cheering each other on ✨. You said it yourself how great it is to experience being new at doing something .

As you dig deep in yourself finding the power in you in your runs, just know there is someone (by someone I mean me) feeling inspired and empowered by you ! 🥹🩷

Teamwork… it’s like taking the Express Lane to bettering yourself. There’s nothing that can compare to the strength we can derive from each other. @elliegmcguire and @mperales_066 tackled some new goals and walked away as new versions of themselves… just covered in a bit more dirt from the trails of Palisades at the @brokenarrowskyrace. #trailrunners #nthdegreeac #athletes #runcoaching #teamwork
