Gold Coast Marathon 2026 🥈🥹 They say if you ever find yourself losing faith in humanity, go watch (or run) a marathon. There’s more magic at the finish line than in any Disney movie ever made. I’ve been lucky enough to experience it twice in the last 12 months, and I can tell you this: the kindness of strangers cheering you on is something I’ll be forever grateful for. To everyone who got me to that finish line—my friends, my family, and even the strangers who screamed my name like we’d known each other forever—thank you. In moments when my legs wanted to stop, your support carried me further than you’ll ever know. This medal is as much yours as it is mine. Onto the next we go! 🚀 #goldcoastmarathon #marathon

Come behind the scenes of @raef_thelabel’s BFCM sale campaign, with strategy by @orangejuicelane, design by @___studiokin and words by @ellielaffner. Last time we worked together was our frank body/Willow & Blake days, so this was the best little throwback project! Swipe to learn more about our sale, design and messaging strategy 👉🏽 2 very important callouts from this sale: ✨ email subscriber acquisition increased from less than 1% to 8%. That’s a lot of people to story tell to and interact with well beyond BFCM. This was a key strategy before and during the sale. ✨ the brand maintained the profit margin they set out to achieve, despite being on heavy sale. This comes down to much much more than COGS (cost of goods) - the team optimised their advertising campaigns and kept their finger on the pulse with spend. We also ensured we always had an incentive there to keep people spending up so that each sale didn’t dip too far below average. Next steps? ✨ Keep an eye on the new customer cohort over the next 12 months to assess the quality of these leads and inform the level of investment into acquisition in 2025. Great project. We loved it. 🫶🏼

Project Deep-Dive: BFCM Sale Strategy for @raef_thelabel ✏️ The Brief: Objectives, promotional plan, messaging, content plan, design and copy brief, channel rollout and conversion initiatives for RAEF’s Black Friday campaign. 💡 The Strategy: ▪️ Keep profit margin high. ▪️ Drive email subscribers pre-launch to reduce reliance on paid media. ▪️ Launch “coming soon” sale collection early on-site to hype the sale & boost retargeting pool. ▪️ 3-staged messaging & creative approach. Each stage of the sale had a different design approach to avoid fatigue, and strong, fun messaging that balanced styling with sale comms. ▪️ Mid-sale driver to maintain momentum, promo changes & Gucci slides giveaway. 📈 The Results: ▪️ We set an aggressive target of +150% up on 2023. We landed +127%. Conversion rate +14% vs 2023. Nearly made it, but not quite. This was an interesting year for everyone — more on this later. ▪️ Profitability held strong and was one of the best months in the brand’s history. This is probably the best outcome any brand can aim for during peak sales periods. ▪️ Newly introduced Price Drop flow outperformed all other email automations by 4x. ▪️ Email performance saw a YoY increase of +341%, and unsubscribes were down -65%. Insane result given emails were sent daily (vs 2x weekly). However, we did see a decline in open rates this year. ▪️ “Coming soon” collection page was the most visited page, and drove 2x more sessions than other top pages. Thank you to @___studiokin and @ellielaffner for your amazing design and copy, and the Raef team for a smooth execution.

The Curly Team 🥰 As a curly girl, I ALWAYS encourage embracing your natural and beautiful curls. I truly enjoyed styling this bridal party; it felt like doing my sisters’ hair 😍 ✨ Remember ✨ If you’re wearing your natural curls, stick to your usual curly routine and use it as a base. 🚫 Avoid smoothing or blow-drying first. Curls behave best when styled with your curly method💕 . . . #curlyhair #curlyhairstyles #curly #curlygirl #bridalhair #curlybride #wedding #hairstyle #melbournehair
