POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I met Ellie and Chris eight years ago when I turned up on their doorstep as a lodger - and very quickly it felt like I’d know them forever 🌊

Honoured to shoot these pregnancy pics last month, not long before the birth of their baby boy ✨

The lovely Ellie! I was so happy to capture some pregnancy shots for her in the final weeks before her baby arrives.

Ellie was a huge part of my own pregnancy journey, like she has been for so many mums. Her @limehouseyoga yoga classes held the most special space for pregnant women, and it was there that I really got to connect with my own pregnancy, find my mum community (friends for life now!), and meet so many wonderful people from the birthing world, from lactation support specialists to doulas, the list goes on. Many of these wonderful people went on to support me through my own birth, including the amazing Terri from @cornwallhypnobirthing , who I owe so much to for helping me feel empowered to have the birth experience I’d always dreamed of. It’s also where I met Caitlin from @budsbirthing , who offers the most gorgeous baby massage class (and so much more) I went on to do four terms with my little babe once she arrived, we both loved it so much!

If you’re on the fence about joining a pregnancy yoga class, I can’t recommend it enough, especially at Limehouse with Ellie once she’s back. It really does make you appreciate all the amazing people within the birthing community here in Cornwall, as well as honouring the time to really sit and connect with your own pregnancy.

Wishing Ellie all the love and luck in this exciting new chapter! 🤎✨
