having the opportunity to compete in a new coming sport in highschool is a privilege, and being able to wrestle with my teammates throughout this season has been an honor. despite having to run sprints after practice, cutting weight for tournaments and duals, and losing matches, i would not trade this sport for any other, because it has really pushed me to become not only better as a wrestler, but better in general. meeting new people in this sport is amazing too, as I now have one of the best practice partners I could ask for @lillianwiitala . getting sick halfway through the season was not at all on my radar, and having to miss a bunch of tournaments and duals was sucky, but still being able to watch my friends (family even) compete has been amazing, and seeing everyone make it to sectionals was AMAZING. i’m proud of all of my teammates for their hard work and dedication to this season, and your accomplishments are seen!! proud of everyone and i’m already excited for next season!! ✅ sophomore szn
