Next to Normal at @weatherfordtots has officially closed and this experience is one that will stick with me forever. Ever since I saw the pro-shot of Next to Normal about a year ago, I told myself that I needed to do this show and play Gabe one day. That dream came true sooner than I could’ve imagined and it came true with the most perfect cast, crew, and theatre. Doing this show, I learned so much about myself, grew in my talents, and became a better person. Getting the opportunity to do this show was an honor and a privilege I will never take for granted.

To my outstanding directors: @ellienunemaker and @the_manny_garcia, you were both everything I could’ve asked for in a director and more. Your dedication to bringing this creative vision to life deeply inspired me. You were so gracious towards every cast and member and made me feel so comforted every step of the way in a show that can be difficult to do at times. I love you both so much and I will never forget working with you on this show. Lastly, thank you for seeing something in me and trusting me with this once in a lifetime role. You had no idea what I was capable of or what to expect from me, and you gave me a chance. For that, I am forever grateful.

To my cast: To my scene partner, @relseyro, it was a blessing to share so many delicate scenes with you and call you my stage mama. I love a million times over. To my wonderstudies, there isn’t another group of people I would’ve wanted to do this show with. Each of you gave flawless performances and I will always remember every moment we shared together. To the principals, watching you on opening night was so cathartic and you were all perfectly cast. This whole cast was something truly special.

My heart is so full to know that this show and these people will forever be a part of my life.

Wow, I don’t even know where to start with this show. This whole experience has been so amazing. Thank you @ellienunemaker and @the_manny_garcia for trusting me with this role. Next to Normal has been a dream show of mine for a long time, and the story means so, so much to me. Not only was I given the chance to play a bucket list role, but I got to play it alongside one of the most talented casts I’ve ever worked with.

The week we started rehearsing for this show, I received a diagnosis of bipolar depression. I have felt a whirlwind of emotions these past few months trying to navigate my mental health, this show, and the stigma around bipolar disorder. Needless to say, performing as Natalie has been very cathartic for me, and I am EXTREMELY thankful for this opportunity. Thank you to everyone involved in the process, and thank you to everyone who came to support me.

Last night, the wonderstudies closed out our final show of Next to Normal.

This beautiful show, it’s cast and crew, have brought me so much joy and happiness the last couple of months. I have met so many wonderful new people that I will call friends for a very long time. Last night was filled with a lot of tears of sorrow and joys for the work we did, and the experience that we will miss.

To my castmates, I love you all, thank you so much for an amazing experience and for being my NTN family. I couldn’t have done this show without your support, laughter, and slightly inappropriate inside jokes. Till we do another show together ❤️

This week was so fun, got to perform at my first @broadwayonatuesday with my castmates and it was so fun! We’ve still got two weeks left of our show and Understudy is up first this Friday!

Tomorrow is the night! I will be performing at my first Broadway on a Tuesday!! I’m so beyond excited and I can’t wait to perform with all of these amazing people.
