Thank you so much for coming to Foul Fiend Theatre Troupe’s CYRANO DE BERGERAC, directed by Sydney Dubitsky! Congratulations to the entire cast and team for a beautiful show. What a magical (genial, courteous, intellectual, virile, courageous….) show and weekend.

If you loved it and want more or if you couldn’t make it and want to get involved, we’re currently putting together our Indoor Season MainStage - we’d love to work with you!

________

At the dawn of the 11th century King Duncan of Scotland and his loyal thanes manage to beat down a bloody attempt at the Scottish throne orchestrated by the Norwegian King Sweno.

To everyone's great surprise Duncan elevates his cowardly, eldest son Malcolm to be next in line for the crown instead of Macbeth, the Thane of Glamis and greatest warrior in the realm.

Fuled by his ambition, and a prophecy received from the three weird sisters he encountered on the battle field, Macbeth and his wife devise a plan to take fate into their own hands, little knowing what wheels of discord they set in motion.

Kulturkanonen's Macbeth 2027 will be performed fully in English, however we encourage actors of all backgrounds

“Have you read Don Quixote?”

Incredibly proud of everyone involved in this production of Cyrano de Bergerac, was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with so many wonderful people on a play that’s always been very near and dear to my heart. Shout out to Antoine de Gramont, the 2nd Duke of Gramont and Count de Guiche, I wouldn’t have wanted to step into anyone else’s shoes.

Just like how Hercule Savinien De Cyrano de Bergerac, wore many hats (philosopher, metaphysician, rhymer, brawler, musician, etc) so did I. For this production I was the director, the adapter, scenic designer, props artisan, board operator and of course, photographer. Incredibly pleased with how these shots came out (especially considering that I was running sound cues at the same time). I have many photos from this show, but here are some of my favorites

Theatre Bucket List:
-Outdoor Theatre… ✅

I’m very thankful to have been apart of this incredible cast and crew. I learned so much through out this process as an artist and a storyteller. Primarily to never tell anyone that you’re constantly trying to not laugh on stage. BUT ALSO, that I love live theatre even more than I thought I could. I wish it was longer, sad it is over, but glad that it happened. PERCHANCE ON THREE!
