As the preseason gets underway I can’t help but get fired up to see 3 of our returning LBHS wrestlers ranked top 5 in state for 1A. However, what I am really excited about is seeing how many more will be ranked in the top 5 by the start of the season after another great Preseason is over. Who’s next????

Camp 7 for the summer, APP STATE. Brought a good crew that are working hard and getting better! Summer wrestling makes winter champions. These kids all want to be on the podium at the end of the season, and they are making the sacrifice. Camp 8 for me will start in 3 days at Huntsville HS. Can’t wait :)

Just finished a three day grind in Orlando with our team at the Knockout Summer Slam! Proud of our team for finishing 3rd in the silver pool. Considering we didn’t bring an “All Star” team, like many others. We defeated all the teams we wrestled that actually brought just their wrestlers and that was all that matters! Next up for our boys, leaving at 4:30am Monday for App State!

Had several kids at the FCA camp this morning, almost 30 kids at our summer workout! Summer slam will be later this week. Our kids are putting in the work this summer! Topped my day of wrestling off with dozens of kids at our youth practice!! I love this sport so much :)
