POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On a Sunday morning, Silk & Plum hosted our very first community event ✨

We wanted to create a purposeful space that would actually help women, by bringing together wonderful women of substance for meaningful conversation.

Our panel session, The Confidence To Be Seen: Identity, Self-Expression & The Way We Show Up, aimed to dig deep into the connection between identity, self-expression, and how women choose to show up in the world.

We discussed unconventional topics from the inner child and divine feminine energy, to shutting down outside opinions, manifestation, and the experiences that bind us collectively as women. And in true Silk & Plum fashion, we had a little fun with it too, including a game of “Which Sex & The City character are you?”

The panel was led by our Founder - Alyia, joined by Sarah Zehan - Clinical Psychologist, Andrea Kee - Fashion Stylist, and Erin Adlina - Financial Planner & powerhouse.

It was a small, intimate Sunday morning spent over meaningful conversation, brunch and thoughtfully curated goodies.

Our first of hopefully many more gatherings, creating space for women to connect, reflect, and leave with something meaningful 💜

Venue: Common Ground KLCC @commonground.work

We asked friends of Silk & Plum in Kuala Lumpur to reflect on the women who shaped them.

What came back were different stories, but many shared the same themes. An understanding that often comes with time. That elegance is not always loud. That strength can look graceful. That the women who raised us were often carrying far more than we realised growing up.

Some spoke about motherhood. Others reflected on style, confidence, legacy, and the courage to stand out. But almost all returned to the same idea — love expressed through showing up, sacrifice, persistence, and simply continuing on for the people around us.

This Mother’s Day, we honour the women before us. Celebrate yourself, or the woman you love.

Our 15% online offering has been extended until 18 May.

New subscribers who have yet to redeem their Welcome Code may apply both at checkout to receive a 25% Off.

With its thoughtful mix of richly coloured fabrics, elegant tailoring and quietly sophisticated silhouettes, Silk & Plum — the new label by the lovely Alyia Nissa — feels miles from fast fashion and more like a beautifully curated wardrobe for women who truly know themselves.

Held at the charming Dia Space in Medan Pasar, guests gathered to preview Alyia’s debut collection, In Between Seasons, featuring everything from jacquard bolero jackets and luxurious wool-cashmere knits to jewel-toned dupioni silk separates and fluid wide-legged trousers. The pieces felt polished yet deeply wearable — clothes designed not merely to be seen, but lived in.

Alyia’s impeccable eye extended beyond the collection itself. The entire space was styled to resemble an intimate, lived-in home, creating the sort of warm, inviting atmosphere where guests happily lingered over delicious food, signature plum mocktails 🥂and lively conversation long after the official launch had begun.

Adding a touch of mystique to the afternoon was aura reader Natalie, whose readings proved such a hit that a queue quickly formed for a glimpse into everyone’s spiritual colour palette.💫

As Alyia herself so perfectly put it: “I wanted to create pieces women don’t outgrow or discard, but keep.” And judging by the response that afternoon, Silk & Plum may well become exactly that. ✨🤍

This is your permission slip.

To stop waiting for the “right time” to take care of yourself.

Ellis is the mum who does it all, and even she started with just one habit.
Not extreme. Not perfect. Just consistent.

The Honest Reset:
start small. come back when you fall off. it still counts. ❤️

Motherhood isn’t just about showing up for everyone else | It’s also about learning how to show up for yourself again. 💛

A lil note from PurelyB’s inner circle 💌
As a mum and a business owner, she was used to pushing through her days, even when feeling tired or out of balance became her normal.

Pegaga came into her life through a close friend, and for the past year, it’s been part of her morning routine.

A simple daily habit that supported her digestion, steadier energy, and helped her feel more balanced over time.

Along the way, she noticed changes she hadn’t expected — from improved complexion to feeling more regulated hormonally.

Nothing drastic.
Just consistent support that fits into her daily life <3
