moments from @ranch_residency ✨ a gift, to be swallowed whole by the pond every morning, a practice, watching a ripple, an effect, working in the shade of a tree, time spent with the birds, to see what bubbles to the surface with time, percolating, a nest of sunrises, many reflections, refractions, a mirror, a black swallow tail and a moon that is full to the brim just like me 🥹

We are so excited to host a ONE-NIGHT-ONLY exhibition of the 2026 Ranch Residency cohort this Saturday, 5-8pm. Frank and Kara had a blast doing studio visits will all the residents and we can assure you this is such a stellar group. Please join us at Hecho on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 from 5-8pm to celebrate their work! Ranch Residency is a visual arts residency located in La Madera, New Mexico. Chosen from hundreds of applications, only a handful of artists attend the one week intensive each year, focusing on creation, play, and devotion to their craft, both in isolation and community. Ranch Residency selects emerging and early career artists, with at least 50% of residents from New Mexico.   The 2026 artists in residence are Hanna Brody, Angel Estrada, Jon Kvassay, Emily Marargit Mason, Ellyx Martinez, Jieun Reiner, Kevin Sabo, and Peyton Stewart. For the second year, Hecho a Mano is collaborating with Ranch Residency for one-night-only exhibition of work made by residents during RR26.    @hbrods

My faves! We went more model vibe for this second New Mexico engagement shoot and I’m pretty sure they nailed it. Best addition, last photo featuring my grand pup, Miles. Even though he nearly got skunked mid session 🦨, I’d say this shoot was a success. Take me back! 🌅❤️Love you guys
