A few previews from the most beautiful wedding day, celebrating Charlotte & Luke, surrounded by loved ones at the stunning @elmleynature 🤍

Charlotte wanted me to bring my family photography style into her wedding day, capturing all those sweet moments with their beautiful flower girl 🌸

The rain kept us indoors all day, but it made for the cosiest autumn celebration, with the rain pattering against the windows.

I’m so grateful to Charlotte & Luke for trusting me to capture such a special chapter in their lives. Weddings aren’t something I photograph often, but there was something about this intimate celebration that just felt right. I’m so glad I got to be a part of it and capture these memories for them to look back on for years to come. 🤍

Soggy hare. Have noticed that they often preferred to sit out in more open ground when it’s raining heavily occasionally shaking all the water off before flattening themselves out again and just sitting it out. #brownhare #cute #phonescoping

Why I love creating both hair & makeup for my brides 🤍

This is something I’m asked all the time at bridal trials, and honestly, my answer is always the same… both.

Over the years, I’ve worked incredibly hard to ensure my hair and makeup artistry feel equally strong, because I’ve never seen them as two separate services.

When I’m creating both, I’m able to step back and consider the whole picture. Every hair & makeup detail is intentional and considered.

Hair & makeup should work in synergy with one another & that is why I love creating both, it allows me to create one beautifully connected bridal look.

One of the highlights of this year was finding on the breeding Bird survey the nest of a little Ring Plover. Alerted by the adult furiously mimicking an injury to distract us we stopped dead in our tracks and carefully searched for the nest on the shingle path we were driving on. Having established its position the path was closed however sadly the nest did not survive and was predated 10 days later.
Next year we will keep a close eye on the site and if they choose to nest again, we will try to protect with an anti-predator cage over the nest.

Such a fabulous stay at Elmley Nature Reserve.

Big skies, beautiful landscapes, the sound of birds and a real sense of being away from it all. It’s a place that reminds you how good it feels to spend time in nature.

Always lovely having adventures with you @keating8253 ❤️

And just like that, we’re heading into our last wedding of the season this weekend 🤍

The flowery chaos, early mornings, flower farm trips, buckets of blooms and beautiful love stories are almost wrapped up for another year. What a season it’s been, full of colour, wildly whimsical flowers, and the dreamiest of couples!

Feeling very grateful for every couple who has trusted me with their wedding flowers this year. It’s been a busy, beautiful whirlwind, and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🫶

If my style was a recipe, how would you sum it up? Totally unsure but I do cover a few bases! Try bohemian whimsy… soft romantic… English country garden… elegant and timeless. Nostalgic and playful. Well to name a few, so I decided to create a recipe so you can see for your self!

Thank you to my lovely couples who help bring these briefs to life and to some wonderful suppliers who have been there along the way! A few to tag.
