30, surrounded by love. ❤️ If there’s one thing this season has reminded me of, it’s that joy and sadness can somehow exist in the same place. Life had given me more than enough reasons to sit this one out, but somehow, on this day, I laughed. I danced. I ate. And I allowed myself to be completely present. And wow… I was loved. Loved loudly. Loved intentionally. Loved in hugs, prayers, gifts, thoughtful words, people showing up, people making sure I smiled, and people determined to make this milestone special for me. For a few beautiful hours, everything felt a little lighter. My heart was full, my people were around me, and I was genuinely, genuinely happy. 🥹❤️ I think that’s one of the things I’m learning now is that life doesn’t always wait until everything is okay before giving you something beautiful. Sometimes, right in the middle of the hard stuff, it gives you a room full of people who love you and says, here… have some joy too. So I did. Very enthusiastically, apparently. 😂 Thank you to everyone who showed up and poured so much love into me. I felt every single bit of it.
