Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special fundraiser for Lebanon.

Whether you contributed through a donation, your presence, or simply by helping spread the word, you helped make this evening possible.

The night reminded us of the power of community: coming together through music, conversation and collective care to support people affected by ongoing violence and displacement in Lebanon.

We are grateful to Sophia Habib for bringing this initiative together and for creating a space where solidarity could take shape. It was an honour for ZINA Radio to support the evening through the musical programme alongside such incredible artists and contributors.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, attended, volunteered, performed and helped behind the scenes. Every contribution matters.

The fundraiser may be over, but the need for support continues. Keep supporting Lebanese communities, artists, businesses and initiatives whenever you can.

In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful aftermovie and look back on a night built on solidarity, care and community.

𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐄𝐥𝐨𝐢 👋

Dear all, we want to thank you one last time for joining us. Whether it was by donation, your presence, or both; you’ve made a difference.

Not only did we raise a lot of money, we showed that a lot can be accomplished by forming community, speaking up and sharing stories.

If you want to keep supporting the Lebanese people, Next time you go out for dinner, maybe consider a Lebanese restaurant. Look up Lebanese businesses, follow Lebanese creators! I can assure you, they are all working tirelessly to support their families. Having said that, we want to say an extra special thank you to @zaytenzaatar who made 130 FREE meals for us. Incredible.

The gofundme is open until Monday, but in the meantime let’s enjoy the aftermovie made by @eloigenrich

The creating of siren.
Why SIREN?
She dared say what Sophia didn’t
Through alter ego I found courage and freedom
Fluidity

Sophia yearns for belonging
SIREN claims her space even where she’s not wanted
Sophia is diplomatic
SIREN is raw and unfiltered

Mythical, digital, dangerous creature
Unbound by linear timeline

This project is about deconstructing and reconstructing. Everything I thought I knew about heritage, family, gender, beauty, time and art has changed.

What was inherited is questioned.
What was silenced is spoken.
What was fixed becomes fluid.
