POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This weekend ended with some hardware and another pennant earned to end my time as a FFA Advisor. For 8 years, the Texas City FFA Shooting Team was one of my favorite parts as an Ag Teacher (and Saoirse’s). I won’t miss freezing in February at the shoots or melting while watching the team shoot in June (IYKYK), but I will 100% miss being able to be there when one of the kiddos shoots a straight for the first time, the extended family that comes with shooting sports, or making sure the “juju” doesn’t get messed up so we can “help” while watching and cheering and stressing as shoot offs happen. Thank you to all the families that had a part in making these past 8 years at Texas City FFA with the shooting team memorable and some of the most entertaining moments. Good luck and shoot straight! - This is “that short red head” signing off.

Here’s is to closing a chapter that has been a part of my life for ten years, two at Ben Bolt and the past EIGHT years with Texas City FFA. Late post, but having finished my last FFA Banquet as an FFA Advisor I can say these kiddos definitely meant something. Of course I had to do the candid photos since, if you ever seen a slideshow for FFA I’ve made, there is plenty of “quality photos”. I will cherish the memories that were made, there has been core memories made, friendships that started at the range, the barn, or classroom. I hope new year will be amazing for TCFFA and I am looking forward to finishing out the year with State Shooting Contest and chasing those banners and buckles!

This year we didn’t get to do prom since it was the same weekend as Texas Tech State CDEs, but we got the opportunity to do part of the florals for a wedding. All levels got to work on a White on white wedding! Some of the kiddos were able to help setup. Just needed the wind to die down so the floral pieces would lay perfectly 😂

Muchas gracias🥺💓 #afuerzadevoluntadperofueron #fridakahloart #cdmx #CasaAzul
