POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little bit about me and the BA in Milk & Honey BA… ✨

1. Did you know BA stands for Beauty Architect? I gave myself that title because I’ve never quite fit into one creative box and, honestly, I don’t want to. 🤭

2. Graphics, interiors, branding, styling, storytelling… share an idea with me, and in no time, I’ll start imagining the entire world that could be built around it.

3. At Milk & Honey, we believe there is beauty in everything. Milk and honey are additives …they add and that’s what we always want to do: enhance!

4. I am a firm believer that people should feel special every single day! There is no such thing as overdoing it…doing the most is our speciality.

5. Hmm, lastly… if I could plan proposals every day, I would. Ah, I just love people wooing each other! 😍

PROCESS

‘ a series of intentional actions taken to create, develop or transform something over time.´

A little look into the process behind this Afro-Contemporary home.

From moodboards and material selection to building furniture from scratch and working with local artisans and designers, every detail was considered intentionally to create a home that felt warm, beautiful and enjoyable to live in.

RENOVATION
‘the act of restoring, improving and transforming a space into something renewed.´

Isn’t it such a joy to have a home you actually want to exist in? A space that feels so enjoyable, warm and personal that you don’t always want to leave it. That is exactly what we sought to create with this project.

We were especially excited when, out of the design options presented, our client chose an Afro-Contemporary modern home. We intentionally sought out patterns, textures and colours that reflected the vibrancy of the country we live in … Ghana🇬🇭

We wanted the space to feel beautiful, but also functional. Somewhere you could truly live in.

From building furniture from scratch to collaborating with local artisans and designers who shared the same vision, every detail was approached with intentionality and thoughtful reflection of what the client desired for their home.

This project was such a joy to work on, and we look forward to sharing more photos and videos from the design process soon.

Heart on the Table is what we called this night ✨

Our client wanted an evening that paid homage to Ghana and the various regions that shaped her story.

She’s someone who wears her heart on her sleeve. She works hard, loves deeply, and is incredibly intentional about creating meaningful experiences for the people around her. So it was important that the night felt like her.

We went for bold reds across the table to represent a heart that loves openly. Terracotta clay pots as a nod to the earth and roots of Ghana. Candlelight to soften the ambiance and create a warm, cosy atmosphere for conversation.

At every place setting, we included a note with a few personal words to each guest — honouring her heart toward them and the intent of the evening.

Thank you for entrusting us with your special evening @giselle_a_a_ #filmphotography #leavingparty #ghanaaccra #accraevents

This year we went traditional, woodsy, rustic — a little wooden wonderland.
Warm wood tones. Natural textures. Candlelight. Intimate and grounding.

But beyond the décor, hospitality is always the heart.

It’s not just about setting a table.
It’s about setting a tone.
Welcoming first. Noticing who came alone. Anticipating needs. Creating a space where people feel seen, safe and valued — not just hosted.

And if you’ve been thinking about gathering in your own space or beyond …

We would happily plan for you. Milk & Honey plans and styles intimate gatherings that feel personal, intentional and unforgettable. Send us a dm 🖤

What a joy it is to celebrate 80 years of life.
There is so much beauty all around, and this year we want to have more fun with food as tablescape—because food is art.

We chose tomatoes for their red, undeniable life.
Bold. Vibrant. Flowing with strength.
Just like Grandma.

We design with intention —Your day should tell your story in every detail. 🖤

Our first curated evening of 2026 for you.
An experience thoughtfully designed with you in mind — through every detail.

Better Together is about celebrating friendship — the kind that takes intention, honesty, and choosing each other again and again.

It’s about remembering why we even do this friendship thing in the first place.

This night is a space for real conversations and fun ones. For laughter, reflection, and moments that strengthen our bonds and remind us that we don’t have to do life alone.

Expect thoughtful activities, meaningful connection, and yes… cute things. Always cute things.

A night for the girls. A night done properly 🤍

An Orange Blossom evening 🍊
To conceptualise and then curate an evening that honours the journey of a beautiful soul is a gift I don’t take lightly.

Tried waakye for the first time in Ghana — and whew 🇬🇭🔥
Rice, beans, shito, gari, egg, meat… the whole gang pulled up.
But did I actually like it? 👀
.
Watch till the end and take a wild guess based on my face 😅
Have you had waakye before? Did you like it?

Movement is a gift… but whew, sometimes the gift feels a little heavy 😅
Getting up to move isn’t always easy — but showing up together made all the difference.

Our recent health walk wasn’t just about hitting step counts (though shoutout to those whose watches finally stopped judging them 😂). It was about soaking in God’s creation, enjoying each other’s presence, and remembering that wellness can be fun when you do it in community. 💛

Let’s keep walking — for our bodies, for our minds, and for the joy of doing life side by side. 👟🌿

When you pray, plan, prep and then pull it off ✨

This highlight video by @couragenam and his team is giving me all the feels , making us want to relive the day — and a little reminder that every detail was worth it. From concept to clean-up, a whole lot of heart went into this day.

Every element came together with intention & creativity.

Grateful for the brilliant vendors who helped make the vision a reality:
