🍁Orange you glad it’s finally fall? The aura of the season has spoken. Get them layers, lattes and lackadaisical lounge wear ready. It’s (always) time to get loved on.

May everything fall into place for you and your folks.

Exactly 9 years ago this week I directed a horror short that featured two of the leading cast members of FODMAP 🍔 This weekend we prepare to go into production once again! Working with them is an absolute joy and their chemistry with the two other exceptionally talented leads would make you think we’ve known each other all long. This reunion is a beacon of light amidst the twisted and trippy visuals we look forward to presenting 😏

"Don't use diverse to mean Black. Just say Black."

Line producer/writer/director Maegan Philmore has had to say this in real rooms, at real networks. In our podcast room at the Season Six Celebration, she broke down what it means to be treated as a checkbox — and what she does about it.

The full conversation with writer-director E'lon Joi is live on YouTube — link in bio.

"Even if I haven't gone through it yet, it's an indicator of what could also be my experience."

Writer-director E'lon Joi, founder of Black Film Allegiance, on why she learns to take up space by learning from other people — and why rooms like our podcast room at the Season Six Celebration are peer mentorship in action.

The full unedited conversation with line producer and Hudson Philmore founder Maegan Philmore just dropped on our Patreon — link in bio.
