Wednesday pack walk. 🐕‍🦺🐾

Today was a wet but sunny walk for the dogs. ☀️🌧️

This will always be the best way to learn, connect, and spend time with dogs, in my opinion. 🐶❤️

We will never get these moments again. ⏳✨

Rocky Growing Up Fast. 🐶🐕

You have seen him learning to socialise at the house when he was a puppy, now look at him go. 🏠🐾

Running with the big dogs, no barking at them & no fear. Age, breed & size should not factor into the social work if you have the right dogs to work with. 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦳🐕‍🦰

He has even taken a little shine to Luna Pants. Watching him grow into a well-socialised dog is a beautiful process. 🐕‍🦺👌

The right socialisation at a young age is crucial to the development of your dog's view in life. If you get this wrong then you'll be paying a trainer to fix it during adolescence. 🐾👩‍🏫

Rocky 1st Pack Walk.

So after his puppy socials he is now ready to join the large pack, as always my dogs have been his anchor since a puppy.

Learning to walk with big & little dogs both young & older. But most importantly all different energies.

I say it all the time its not the amount of dogs you meet its the meeting the right dogs.

Rocky is staying with me for a few days.

Rocky 1st Social Session.

In my personal opinion as a dog owner, I always wish that I could have done my dogs socialisation better.

Obiedence, lead control ect can always be taught and worked no matter the age however socialising is a total different story.

What you teach at this crucial age 13weeks he will use his entire life, maintaining and keeping up good socialisation is also part of this.

Walking your dog in high dog areas teaching them to respect other dogs and people. How to read another dog energy but also disengage in play and be calm with dogs.

As the world shifts into a neutral position I find myself rehabilitating unsocialised dogs or socialised in the wrong way (over friendly).

Rocky is confident and curious my pack are here to teach and keep him this way until he is ready for a larger pack.

Welcome to pack lil man.
